As a newly married couple looking to purchase our first home, Andy was awesome at walking us through the unfamiliar and sometimes complex process of navigating the real estate market. We relied heavily on his expertise as we chose a home that would suit our immediate needs, as well as our future ones. He showed us many homes, and helped us understand the pros and cons of all of them. Once we found our home, he helped us through the actual purchase to ensure we understood what was happening every step of the way. Several years later when we were moving away from the area, we relied on Andy once again to sell our home, which he did within a week, and at a profit.

 

 

 

Andy found us our first home. My wife and I were newly married. We were looking for a home that could remodeled but was also in livable condition. We were preparing to start a family and wanted something that we could fix up as we built our life together.

 

 

 

Andy helped us find and close on our first home in St. Louis. He was friendly, knowledgeable about our target neighborhoods, and very flexible with evening and weekend appointments. After a few showings, he was able to eliminate listings that he knew wouldn’t appeal to us. Andy was very helpful in finding a home for me. He took my suggestions and provided a list of many homes that fit within the parameters that I had given him. After looking at several local communities, which Andy was familiar with the pluses and minuses of each, I settled on a home in Montezuma. Andy kept me updated on each step of the process and went the extra steps needed to complete the sometimes complicated, nerve wracking, and unfamiliar process of home buying and was unflagging in his support.

 

 

 

We recently had Andy as a buyers agent. He did a tremendous job for us as most of this was done via long distance either by phone or e-mail. When we were in Ia. he showed us several houses that we might be interested in. He even showed us one in the country on a Sunday afternoon. We had a short time to be there to look and this was great for us. After several weeks we did find and buy a house in New Sharon. Andy was great in handling all the details in the buying process and in the closing. I would highly recommend Andy. Andy recently helped us sell our lake home. He was very helpful and professional in what turned out to be a rather long and somewhat stressful situation for us. But Andy was always willing to quickly respond to our many questions via text, email, or in person. We were thankful for Andy’s encouragement and expertise throughout the negotiation and closing process. Andy is skilled at using all avenues of advertisement to reach the widest audience of potential buyers. He was always encouraging and positive. Andy is very personable but professional agent. He gets to know you. He spends time looking for what you want in a home, along with understanding your needs, etc. We were a first time buyers and didn’t know the first thing about buying a house. He helps educate you. He takes the time to show you the house that you want to see and lets you know what his opinion is. Also one of our main concerns was looking at the school district at the time we had one child. People let me tell ya there are a lot of good quality realtors out there but Andy Erselius is better than the best.
